Upcoming Trade Missions 2019

The North Dakota Trade Office is developing multiple trade missions that will take place over the following year. Various industries are targeted throughout 2019, with grant funding available for those that qualify. Below is a list of the trade missions and trade trips currently on the calendar.

UAE/Israel: A trade mission to the United Arab Emirates and Israel is planned for February 2019. Four specialty crop companies will be attending the Gulfood Show in Dubai, UAE before touring Tel Aviv, Israel and meeting one-on-one with buyers.

China and the Philippines: The soy foods industry will be exclusively targeted during two events in May and April. NDTO staff and member companies will attend the Bean Product Committee of China’s Soyfood Processing Equipment Conference and Exhibition in Changsha, China in April, followed by the USSEC Soyfood Symposium in Cebu, Philippines in May.

South Africa: NAMPO Harvest Day in Bothaville, South Africa will focus on agricultural equipment and will take place mid-May 2019.

Argentina/Brazil and Japan: Two multi-industry trade missions are in the preliminary planning stages. A trade mission to Argentina and Brazil in June/July 2019 will include the target industries of agricultural equipment and energy. A Japan trade mission in August/September 2019 will focus on agricultural equipment, energy and value-added agriculture.

STEP ND funding and Specialty Crop Program funding may be available for those that qualify.
