Valley Worldwide Logistics Solutions would like to announce the arrival of the first direct, all water sailing vessel to the Port of Duluth, MN., from Antwerp, Belgium.
Spliethoff will have a vessel arriving at the Port of Duluth, MN on approximately 07/21/2015. Initial sailing date for export shipments out of the Port of Duluth will be 07/25/2015 with a second sailing date of approximately 08/08/2015. Port cut-off for these sailings would be approximately 07/24/2015 and 08/06/2015 respectively.
The direct sail route of this vessel will be from the Port of Duluth, MN to Antwerp, Belgium, with the ability to send export shipments to all of Northern Europe and other destinations from Antwerp.
This Great Lakes Service via Spliethoff, is taking hold out of the Port of Cleveland, OH and we are looking to help expand that service to the Port of Duluth, MN on a regular basis. Freight volumes are going to drive this service and we hope to expand on this initial sailing with additional sailings as we look into the future.
