NDTO and our partners have a full agenda of events, trade missions and trade shows planned for the first quarter (Jan-March) 2014. Below is a list of events.
- Jan. 15: State of the Global Economy Trade Talk – Join NDTO and our partners for the 3rd annual State of the Global Economy Trade Talk. This event provides an arena for area exporters and leaders to discuss the future of the economy in both established countries and emerging market. Economic advisors will also provide valuable insight for North Dakota exporters as we continue to navigate the global economic situation. For more information, contact Lindsey@ndto.com
- Jan. 16-23: Ghana Trade Mission –NDTO, along with AdFarm and Praxis Africa, will lead a multi-sector trade mission to Ghana to meet with potential buyers and partners as well as government leaders. Matchmaking and partner search services are available through the US Commercial Service in Ghana. For more information, contact Brittany@ndto.com
- Feb. 19-26: Philippine- Singapore Trade Mission –The Trade Office will lead a food-focused trade mission to Manila, Philippines, to meet with potential importers and partners. Interested companies will continue on to Singapore for additional meetings. For more information, contact Jiwon@ndto.com
- March 20: North Dakota – China ‘Better For You Foods Conference & Exhibition’ –This event, held in Qingdao in conjunction with a traditional NDTO trade mission, will be modeled after the conferences held in March 2013 in Beijing and Quangzhou. North Dakota companies and crop specialists will have the opportunity to meet with, and educate, potential Chinese partners and the values of North Dakota’s high-quality food ingredients.
