Trade Office Advisory Board member Asmah Tareen named to elite business group

Minneapolis, Minn.– Asmah Tareen, a Cavalier, N.D., native, and member of the North Dakota Trade Office Advisory Board, recently was named  a 40 Under Forty by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.

The award honors forty Twin Cities professionals under 40 years of age for their business accomplishments and community contributions.

A Fulbright scholar and an attorney with Fredrikson & Byron, P.A. in Minneapolis,  Asmah works with North Dakota exporters to expand globally. She also works to increase diversity in the Twin Cities legal community.

Asmah’s contributions extend to educational development, medical assistance, and economic development in Southeast Asia.  She is also working for and creating organizations that help provide education to children in Afghanistan and medical aid to earthquake victims in Pakistan.
