NDTO organizes trade missions and reverse missions to engage exporters in promising markets. Trade mission and reverse mission planning involves the development and scheduling of business meetings, receptions, lodging, transportation and other trade mission events.
During outbound trade missions, North Dakota customers travel to the target market and meet with pre-qualified potential buyers in-country. Outbound trade missions are followed by a reverse mission targeting the same market. Reverse missions bring potential buyers to North Dakota where they meet one-on-one with exporters, tour manufacturing or food processing facilities, and experience the state’s heritage and business culture. Trade missions and reverse missions are open to the public.
