NDTO Now Offering Research Software to All NDTO Members

Quality research is a fundamental part of building a successful export business.  In a world of constant information-sharing via the Internet, it is sometimes assumed that answers can be found with a quick Google search; however, uncovering valuable trade information is usually time consuming and often expensive.  That’s why the North Dakota Trade Office (NDTO) is now offering top research software to all NDTO Export Members, including AtoZ World Trade and Kompass.

AtoZ World Trade is comprehensive, country-to-country guide for how to succeed in international trade and business.  Information available through the resource includes country taxation, trade compliance, Incoterms®, export and import documentation, travel climate, country maps and extensive business culture content such as negotiation style, gift-giving and dining guides.

Kompass is a business-to-business import and export search engine.  The database allows businesses to search prospective international buyers, dealers and distributors based on specific criteria such as products and services.  The Kompass database includes 3.5 million companies in 66 countries all over the world.  The site includes a guided search on unique product classification and company profiles offering a full view of each company’s activity, products and services, trade names and executives.

AtoZ World Trade and Kompass will be free for all NDTO Export Members.  AtoZ World Trade is currently available and Kompass will be launched the end of July.  Access to both databases is available via the ‘Member Access’ section of the ndto website:  http://ndto.com/ndto-member-access/
