Doing Business in Brazil and One-on-One Meetings with Brazil Trade Specialist

From September 23-27, Moacir Rodovalho, a Senior Commercial Specialist with the U.S. Commercial Service in Recife, Brazil, will be in Fargo to assist local companies seeking to enter Brazil. He is available to consult a limited number of businesses interested in expanding into Brazil. Appointments to meet with Moacir will be available on a first come, first served basis. Before the one-hour meeting, your Commercial Service team in Fargo and in Brazil will do preliminary market research to ensure your one-on-one meeting will be productive.

In addition to one-on-one meetings with Moacir, the US Commercial Service and the North Dakota District Export Council are hosting a Doing Business in Brazil luncheon in Fargo. During the seminar, you will hear from not only Moacir, but also the following companies with experience in the Brazilian market.

Chad Kost, Chief Operating Officer of Spectrum Aeromed (Fargo, ND) will be sharing his experiences developing the Brazilian market for Spectrum. Brazil's aerospace industry is large and established. Chad joined Spectrum Aeromed in 2013, and prior to that, he spent 17 years in the banking industry. He holds a BS in Business Administration from Mayville (ND) State University and Masters Degree in Business Administration from North Dakota State University.

Jean Voorhees is the Vice President of Business Development for WCCO Belting, Inc., in Wahpeton, ND. After achieving market entry a decade ago, WCCO continues to expand both share and the portfolio of products marketed in Brazil. The opportunities are driving both distribution expansion and product development. Jean has extensive experience in the development, innovation, marketing and distribution of industrial and agricultural products around the world.

The cost for the luncheon is $30 per person. For a one-on-one meeting and market research report, the cost is $189 and will include free participation in the luncheon.
