Is your company looking to CE-mark your machinery? Curious about the latest in declarations of conformity / incorporation from suppliers? Not sure what you need to know about the ROHS2 Directive? If so, this seminar is for you!
Applying a CE mark to a machine signals that a manufacturer has complied with applicable EU directives, regulations, and standards.
Join us on Thursday, December 14 and learn from CE marking expert Yvonne Halpaus of QNET LLC. Yvonne will assist machinery manufacturers with an overview of what is involved when they decide to CE-mark their machinery, provide NEW information about reviewing declarations of conformity / incorporation from suppliers and what they need to know about the ROHS2 Directive.
Participants in this seminar will learn that CE-marking of machinery, or partially completed machinery, starts by complying with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and its harmonized EU standards. Companies need to be able to determine what type of machinery may follow the self-certification process of the machinery directive, or if certification by a European Notified / Competent Body is required. Additionally, companies need to know how and when standards fit into this process and if a quality management system is required.
Trade Talk participants will also be introduced to the ROHS Directive 2011/65/EU compliance process and receive step-by-step instructions on how manufacturers can determine if their equipment / machinery falls under this directive. An outline of steps that need to be taken to ensure compliance will be addressed.
